AOFTR Bar Opens in Glebe
AOFTR, an intimate cocktail bar space by Owner/Operator Van K Le (known as Kenny in close circles) has opened in Glebe, Sydney, bringing modern classics with a twist. The 30pax (COVID capacity) venue was previously a doctor’s office in the early 1900 and later transformed into a restaurant before housing a live music venue downstairs with BED Bar and AOFTR cocktail bar upstairs.
A selection of whisky and gin is on rotation and every month will introduce three new cocktails with classics available on request. The name has been deliberately left open to interpretation but could well be Another One for The Road or And One For The Record. Current opening hours are Wednesday 4pm to 10pm; Thursday 4pm to midnight, Friday 4pm to 2am, Saturday 1pm to 2am, Sunday 1pm to 8pm.

Gin Bar by Forty Spotted
A new Gin Bar by Forty Spotted is set to open later this month and will offer guests masterclasses with each guest walking away with their own bespoke, uniquely blended bottle of Tasmanian gin.

Esteban Tequila & Mezcal Bar
The team behind Tequila Mockingbird in Paddington, Sydney has opened Esteban in Sydney’s CBD. The split level venue features the kitchen and restaurant upstairs with the lower level housing a bar with a vast selection of tequila and mezcal. Esteban is located at the former site of Grasshopper Bar.

Naught Distilling
Naught Distilling is one of the latest distilleries to open in Victoria by co-founder Chris Cameron, professional basketball player and Melbourne local. The new distillery is located in Eltham, Victoria and is currently producing an Australian dry gin.
