Crafted by Otter Craft Distilling using the very best sourced botanicals, Mary St Sydney Dry Gin (40% ABV) is named after OCD’s original distillery location in St Peters as told on the back label of the bottle.
The slight cloudiness of the gin hints at the delicious, oily juniper which is evident on the nose and subtly supported with light floral and sweet citrus notes. The palate leads with a good dose of juniper, followed by a spice kick from the fragrant cinnamon and some woody, earthiness from the orris root. Sweet floral notes are ever so subtle and round out Mary St Gin without standing out as hero botanicals.
Mary St Gin is an easy drinking and versatile gin. The big juniper and spice notes ensure it stands up well in a classic gin & tonic as it does in a Negroni or any dry gin-based cocktail.
