Moore’s Dry Gin Blood Orange
Crafted by Philip Moore, international award-winning Master Distiller of Distillery Botanica, Moore’s Dry Gin Blood Orange (40% ABV) is a limited-edition gin that is another example of Philip’s pursuit of perfection that sees him follow a slow, artisanal and precise distilling process which is part science experiment and part art form.
All the fruits have been sourced from Kulnura in the Central Coast Hinterland to produce this highly mixable small batch gin to enjoy in a variety of tantalising tipples including a scintillating G&T. The nose is vibrant and complex. The mouth-filling explosion of sherbet is created by the simultaneous sweetness and exuberance of blood and Valencia oranges, with the tart and tangy verve of the pink and white grapefruit. The taste offers depth and complexity, with the sweetness of the Valencia citrus shining though. This, along with the tangy dryness of the pink and white grapefruit is a flawless taste to savour.
