A summer spritz calls for 7K Distillery Raspberry Aperitif (25% ABV), sustainably produced using spent raspberries from 7K Tasmanian Raspberry Gin.
The origin of this Aperitif came from in-house bartender turned distiller, Alexander “Chappy” Chaplin, who saw too much potential in spent/wastage raspberries after their use in 7K Tasmanian Raspberry Gin. The Aperitif is crafted by fortifying a Tasmanian wine made from Gewurztraminer, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay grapes, macerating a blend of botanicals such as orange peel and gentian then pairing that bitterness with the sweet raspberry and floral chamomile undertones.
Ideal as a spritz or on ice, it can also be used in a range of cocktails and in classics that call for a bitter style of aperitivo.
