Inspired by Head Distiller’s fourth generation family Christmas pudding recipe, Bass & Flinders Spiced Christmas Brandy is a medley of flavours combining dried apricots, cranberries, orange zest and nutmeg, plus a unique blend of Christmas flavours including frankincense and myrrh to deliver a unique brandy with subtle sweetness and Christmas notes.
The brandy lures with its golden amber hue before sweet doughy aromas intermingle with classic Christmas spices, dried fruits and citrus rinds. The palate is rich and medium-bodied and delivers sweet spice, apricot, currants and orange rind revealing a spicy mid-palate blend of nutmeg, native pepperberry and cassia before it finishes long with notes of vanilla and clove carrying all the spices.
Sip it neat, mix into your favourite Christmas cocktail such as Spiced Christmas Brandy Old Fashioned or whisk it into brandy foam sauce to serve with pudding.
