Corinne Mossati is a drinks writer, author of GROW YOUR OWN COCKTAIL GARDEN, SHRUBS & BOTANICAL SODAS and founder/editor of Cocktails & Bars, The Gourmantic Garden and Gourmantic. She has been writing extensively about spirits, cocktails, bars and cocktail gardening in more recent years. After successful careers in Optometry, Human Resource Management and IT Project Management, she founded Gourmantic in 2009, Cocktails & Bars in 2015 and The Gourmantic Garden in 2020.
She is a highly experienced spirits and cocktail competition judge, Icons of Whisky Australia nominee, contributor to Diageo Bar Academy, cocktail developer and is named in Australian Bartender Magazine’s Top 100 Most Influential List.
In 2015, Corinne was invited by Merivale as guest hospitality staff trainer for new employees at Coogee Pavilion. In 2014, she was guest speaker at the “Bartender Workshop: Bar Publicity and Advertising” during Bar Week and again, at “The Business of Bar Conference: Say it Right! Getting Results in the Media” during Bar Week 2016. She presented at the City of Sydney’s “Business Seminar 101 – Late starters: Keeping the doors open for night-time trade“. In 2023, she presented a webinar on ‘How to Use Your Edible Garden Botanicals in Cocktails’ for Grow It Local members.
Corinne’s cocktail garden was featured on ABC TV’s Gardening Australia and has won several awards including Randwick Council Garden Awards for Best Edible Garden and Eco Champion, first place winner in the Grow It Local Awards 2022 in the Best Veggie Patch Name category and runner up in Sustainable Gardener award in 2023. She is a contributor to Real World Gardener radio program and is featured in several publications including Pip Magazine, Organic Gardener, Australian Bartender and Breathe (UK).
