Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, a new cocktail and champagne bar by Sven Almenning of Eau de Vie, The Roosevelt and Mjolner is set to open in Sydney CBD. The bar will taking up the space that was behind Christopher Hanna salon on Bridge Street. The venue is slated to open on on February 19, 2019.
Will’s Opens at Coogee Pavilion Middle Floor
Six years after Merivale acquired Coogee Pavilion, Will’s cocktail bar has opened last month at Coogee Pavilion Middle Floor. Will’s is a dedicated cocktail bar and forms part of the trio of venues namely Mimi’s fine dining and Una Más tapas bar. Read our full feature on Will’s cocktail bar here.
Fortunate Son

Finders Distillery
Sydney’s North Shore has a new urban distillery. Finders Distillery by Kyle Ford and Georgia Conn is housed in an industrial unit in St Leonards and is set to launch in the first quarter of 2020.
Bacardi Legacy Australian Winner
The Australian finals of the Bacardi Legacy Global Cocktail Competition 2019/20 were held in Melbourne last week with Adam Dow of Dead Ringer in Sydney announced as the winner. His cocktail, The Golden Rule is inspired by the old age rule – treat others as you’d wish to be treated. It combines Bacardi Carta Blanca with citrus, honey syrup, Peychaud’s bitters and rose water spray. Dow will travel to Miami in May to represent Australia in the global finals.
The Gourmantic Garden
Closer to home, we’re pleased to announce the addition of another website to our portfolio. The Gourmantic Garden is an offshoot of Gourmantic – pun intended – a Sydney edible garden website with information on growing your own edibles (and cocktail garnishes) as well as sustainable gardening practices.
