Drinks International has announced its World’s 50 Best Bars 2016 with New York’s The Dead Rabbit Grocery & Grog taking the top position.
Australia has competed on global level and named joint third best country behind US and UK. The Baxter Inn of Sydney was announced Ketel One Vodka Best Bar in Australasia for the third year running. Sydney’s Bulletin Place and Melbourne’s The Black Pearl were also included in the ranking. Singapore’s Manhattan took out the 11th place and Bols Genever Best Bar in Asia Award for the first time.
The bars were selected by an Academy of 476 members from 57 countries, a solid and diverse collection of industry experts of which I am honoured to be on the committee for the fourth year running.
