Brookie’s Slow Passion Gin limited release, Sydney Bar Week is back for 2022, the return of events and more in this edition of Industry News.
Brookie’s Slow Passion Gin
Following its sellout in 2021, B Corp certified Cape Byron Distillery has brought back Brookie’s Slow Passion Gin as a limited release.
Brookie’s Byron Slow Passion Gin (26% ABV) is made with 100% natural and locally sourced ingredients. The expression was created over several months by the slow maceration of indigenous Davidson Plums with ‘Sweethearts’ passionfruit from ‘Terania Creek Passionfruit’, in the classic Brookie’s Byron Dry Gin. Davidson Plum delivers a tart, sweet, berry coulis flavour profile whilst passionfruit balances the gin with a fruity citrus tang. Ideal for cocktails and a leisurely afternoon spritz, Brookie’s Byron Slow Passion Gin can also be enjoyed with tonic water, in a Royale topped with sparkling wine and a teaspoon of passionfruit pulp, and in Slow & Passionate Cocktail with coconut milk, sugar syrup, lemon juice, egg white or aquafaba and a teaspoon of fresh passionfruit pulp.
The limited release Brookie’s Byron Slow Passion Gin is priced at RRP $70 AUD, 700ML and is available online, at the Cellar Door, in cocktail bars around the country and premium independent retailers.
