Dried apricots, cranberries, orange zest and nutmeg, plus a unique blend of whimsical Christmas flavours including frankincense and myrrh make up Bass & Flinders Spiced Christmas Brandy. Inspired by Head Distiller‘s fourth generation family Christmas pudding recipe, the brandy is the result of steeping all of the Christmas pudding ingredients to deliver a subtle sweetness with Christmas notes.
Bright golden amber in colour, the brandy opens with sweet doughy aromas intermingled with classic Christmas spices, dried fruits and citrus rinds. The medium-bodied palate is redolent with sweet spice, apricot, currants and orange rind revealing a spicy mid-palate blend of nutmeg, native pepperberry and cassia. The finish is long and delectable with vanilla carrying all the spices.
Sip neat, mix into your favourite Christmas cocktail or whisk into brandy foam sauce to serve with pudding.
