From The Gospel Distillers in Victoria comes The Gospel Straight Rye Whiskey made from 100% Australian grown rye from a single farm in the Murray Mallee region of South Australia.
With a 100% rye mash, The Gospel Straight Rye Whiskey (45% ABV) is double distilled then aged for a minimum of two years in brand new American Oak barrels in Brunswick, Melbourne. The nose leads with notes of caramel, white pepper and rye bread, and lingers on the palate with spice, oak and caramel. Drink it neat, on ice or in a Red Hook cocktail with sweet vermouth and maraschino liqueur.
