The Australian Gin Awards 2022 were announced at a cocktail party held at the Australian Turf Club in Sydney on Saturday 29 October with Travelling While Standing Still from Macedon in Victoria named as Best in Show.
Judith Kennedy AM, Founder and CEO of Australian Gin Distillers Association Inc announced the Best in Show, Travelling While Standing Still from Macedon, Victoria. There were 475 entries into the Australian Gin Awards this year and 86 entries into the CCL Packaging Awards. Gin Awards Chairman Mikey Enright and his teams awarded five trophies, 51 Gold, 123 Silver and 163 Bronze medals. There were 337 medals in total which made up of 73% of the entries.

No trophy awarded due to insufficient entries.
Class 5 – Over-Proof / Navy Gin
Best In Class: Jones & Smith Distillery, Epoch Navy Gin; Spring Hill, New South Wales
Class 6 – Traditional Liqueurs & Flavoured Gin
Best In Class: 7k Distillery, Tasmanian Raspberry Aqua Vitae Gin; Derwent Park, Tasmania
