Top 100 Most Influential List 2015: It’s that time of year when the Australian bar industry gears up towards September as Australian Bartender Magazine’s annual Bar Week approaches.
One of the major announcements was made this week when the Bartender Magazine Top 100 Most Influential List for 2015 was released. Since 2009, every two years Australian Bartender magazine has been awarding influencers, movers and shakers in the industry with the prestigious status.
The Top 100 list was voted on by members of the bar trade and honours individuals who have taken the lead in this industry. It’s an honour for me to be listed for the second time in a row as one of the Top 100 Most Influential List in Australia in the company of great bartenders, bar owners and bar managers, brand ambassadors and writers many of whom I admire.
The Top 10 will be announced at a party during Sydney Bar Week at the Gazebo in Potts Point. Past winners have included Vernon Chalker of Gin Palace in Melbourne, Merivale’s Justin Hemmes, and Jason Scott and Anton Forte, owners of Baxter Inn, Shady Pines and Frankie’s Pizza by the Slice.
