Beefeater Gin has launched Beefeater Pink in Australia, the latest gin expression created Master Distiller Desmond Payne MBE who visited Sydney for the occasion.
With its signature strawberry flavour, the new gin expression follows Beefeater 24 and is designed to appeal to a new generation of gin lovers by offering an approachable and sessionable spirit along with a visually appealing drink.
Beefeater Pink starts with the original Beefeater London Dry Gin recipe. Juniper, coriander seed, bitter orange peel, lemon peel, angelica root, angelica seed, almond, liquorice and orris root are steeped in neutral alcohol for 24 hours before distillation. Once distilled, natural flavours are added along with a tinge of pink colour and a hint of sweetness.
According to Desmond Payne MBE, the new pink gin is a step away from the traditional Beefeater but as the pink gin trend is a fast growing category, why not give consumers what they want.
