Johnnie Walker has unveiled White Walker by Johnnie Walker, a limited-edition Scotch Whisky inspired by the White Walkers from Game of Thrones.
White Walker by Johnnie Walker (41.7% ABV), is an official collaboration between the brand and HBO®, Game of Thrones. Created by whisky specialist George Harper, alongside the small team of expert blenders, this innovative whisky is best served directly from the freezer, echoing the chilling presence of the White Walkers.
The bottling brings you right to the Frozen North with an icy white and blue design along with the iconic Striding Man now fashioned in armour to fit in among the ranks of the Night King’s forces. Utilising temperature-sensitive ink technology, fans will be reminded that “Winter is Here” from an unexpected graphic icy reveal on the bottle when frozen.
Bottled at (41.7% ABV), White Walker by Johnnie Walker is designed to be sipped from the freezer. Light and fruity, it has notes of caramelised sugar and vanilla, fresh red berries with a touch of orchard fruit and features Single Malts from Cardhu and Clynelish – one of Scotland’s most Northern distilleries. If left to warm up in the glass, the whisky takes on a sweeter character. Blender George Harper used the Frozen North as his starting point for creating the innovative whisky blend.
The whisky can be enjoyed in a range of cocktails such as in a Highball with soda, aarkala sprig and lemon slice; in a fizz with yuzu soda, jasmine and strawberry; and with Carpano Antica Formula Rosso Vermouth, Cherry Herring and an orange twist.
