2. Olives
When it comes to olives as a cocktail garnish, the Martini comes to mind. Olives add an element of salinity to a drink and help in balancing flavours. Olives, stuffed, whole or pitted can be used in a variety of drinks such as in a Bloody Mary and to complement an aperitivo with Campari or Aperol.
Tip: Green Sicilian olives are considered the best type of olives for a Martini.
