7. Cocktail Garnishes: Vegetables
Vegetables can add a range of flavours to a drink, be it savoury, spicy, salty or earthy. Think beyond the celery stick in a Blood Mary such as cucumber peel in a Martini, a pickled carrot as an edible garnish and a sliced jalapeño in a Mezcal Margarita.
Tip: For an elegant garnish, use a vegetable peeler to create a rhubarb ribbon which can be used to line up the inside of a glass.
