6. Fruit
Whether it’s fresh, candied, dehydrated or freeze dried, fruit is a popular and common cocktail garnish. Think of the perfect strawberry adorning the rim of a glass, a pineapple wedge and frond in a Tiki cocktail, pomegranate arils in a Gin and Tonic, a wedge of dragonfruit on a Dragonfruit Daiquiri, candied ginger on the Penicillin cocktail, as well as freeze dried and powdered berries on the side of a glass.
Tip: A frozen grape or berry can serve a double purpose of keeping a drink chilled while adding flavour.
