The ‘Garden Collins Summer Series’, a series dedicated to the Tom Collins cocktail continues with Coriander and Jalapeño Tequila Collins using coriander stem and jalapeño from the garden.
Coriander and Jalapeño Tequila Collins Recipe
Ingredients
- 50ml blanco tequila
- 25ml lime juice, freshly squeezed
- 15ml coriander stem syrup (click for recipe)
- 1/4 small jalapeño, de-seeded and chopped
- soda water to top
Glassware: Collins glass
Garnish: lime slice
Method
In a cocktail shaker, muddle the jalapeño slices with lime juice and coriander stem syrup. Add blanco tequila, ice cubes and shake hard until well chilled. Strain into a Collins glass filled with ice cubes. Garnish with a slice of lime.
