The Australian finals of the Bacardi Legacy Global Cocktail Competition 2019/20 were held in Melbourne last week with Adam Dow of Dead Ringer in Sydney announced as the winner. His cocktail, The Golden Rule is inspired by the old age rule – treat others as you’d wish to be treated. It combines Bacardi Carta Blanca with citrus, honey syrup, Peychaud’s bitters and rose water spray. Dow will travel to Miami in May to represent Australia in the global finals.
The Gourmantic Garden
Closer to home, we’re pleased to announce the addition of another website to our portfolio. The Gourmantic Garden is an offshoot of Gourmantic – pun intended – a Sydney edible garden website with information on growing your own edibles (and cocktail garnishes) as well as sustainable gardening practices.
