The following flask cocktails are made for a 240 ml (8 oz flask) with dilution factored in at approximately one quarter of the total volume of the cocktail. If using a 180 ml (6 oz) flask, adjust the ratios accordingly.

Flask Cocktails: Little Italy Cocktail Recipe
Adapted from Amaro by Brad Thomas Parsons. Makes 2 drinks in a 240 ml (8 oz) flask.
Ingredients
- 120 ml rye whiskey
- 40 ml sweet vermouth
- 30 ml Cynar
- 45 ml filtered water
Flask Cocktails: Rum Old Fashioned Recipe
Makes 3 in a 240 ml (8 oz) flask
Ingredients
- 135 ml dark rum
- 15 ml Demerara syrup (1:1)
- 4-6 dashes Angostura bitters
- 40 ml filtered water
Flask Cocktails: Blackthorn Cocktail (Irish)
Adapted from Harry’s ABC of Mixing Cocktails. Makes 2 in a 240 ml (8 oz) flask.
Ingredients
- 120 ml Irish whiskey
- 60 ml sweet vermouth
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 2 dashes Absinthe
- 45 ml filtered water
Method
Build these cocktails directly in a flask. For each cocktail, use a funnel and pour the ingredients into a flask. Close the flask and give it a gentle swirl. Store in the fridge until ready to use.
Other flask-friendly cocktails include Mezcal Negroni, Hanky Panky, Manhattan, Boulevardier, Rob Roy, Vieux Carre, Martinez, Sazerac and Tipperary.
