Limoncello is a lemon-flavoured liqueur made from lemon zest and although it’s traditionally sipped neat after dinner, the Italian liqueur makes refreshing summer cocktails.
This frozen cocktail recipe combines limoncello with mint for the ultimate refreshment in the heat. Making it is as simple as adding limoncello, mint leaves, lemon juice, simple syrup and ice to a blender. The Frozen Limoncello and Mint Cocktail recipe below is for one and easily scales up depending on your blender.

Frozen Limoncello and Mint Cocktail Recipe
Ingredients
- 60 ml limoncello
- 25 ml lemon juice
- 30 ml simple syrup 1:1
- 8 mint leaves
- 1 to 1 1/2 to cups crushed ice
Equipment: blender
Glassware: tumbler, stemless wine glass
Garnish: mint leaf
Method
Add all the ingredients in a blender and blend for 15 seconds. Add the ice a little at a time and blend until the right consistency is achieved. Pour into a chilled glass and garnish with a mint leaf.
