Paloma Cocktail Recipe: You may be well acquainted with the Margarita but when it comes to tequila cocktails, the Paloma is Mexico’s most popular drink.
Paloma means dove in Spanish and the drink combines tequila and grapefruit in a refreshing drink that balances sweetness and tartness with notes of agave.
In this recipe, we used tequila reposado but you can also use tequila blanco. The drink is built in a Collins glass or highball with ice cubes and topped with grapefruit and soda. You can salt the rim of the glass if you wish but we’ve left it out in this recipe.
The Paloma cocktail is simple and refreshing, ideal for those warmer evenings or as the sun goes down – a drink that says summer is here.
