How to make the Pomegranate Gin Cocktail, a refreshing gin cocktail that’s ideal for the warmer months.
The Pomegranate Gin Cocktail is a refreshing, summer drink that’s easy to prepare when guests drop in. The drink combines the tartness of pomegranate with the freshness of mint and the botanicals of the gin. It’s simple to make for the home bartender and adds a splash of colour to the day.
You can buy pre-made pomegranate juice or make your own. To juice a pomegranate, you can simply use a citrus juicer or blender. For the latter, put the pomegranate arils in a blender and pulse a few times until they release their juice. Use a fine strainer to separate the liquid from the solids before using.
The Pomegranate Gin Cocktail is also a good choice to serve during the Christmas period. For a more festive garnish, dust the mint leaves with powdered sugar to mimic snow.
