Cocktails at home need not be overly complicated. A simple combination of three ingredients from the home bar can quickly come together in a sessionable low ABV drink to impress guests.
The Quince Gin Spritzer is an aperitif. The equal parts cocktail calls for Quince Gin, Lillet Blanc and soda water built in an old fashioned glass with a large ice cube. Quince Gin is a take on the traditional Sloe Gin, with a fruity and sweet profile and hint of sour. Expressed orange peel brightens the drink and highlights the marriage of the fruity notes of the quince and Lillet Blanc.

Ingredients
- 30 ml Quince Gin
- 30 ml Lillet Blanc
- 30 ml soda water
Glassware: old fashioned
Garnish: expressed orange peel
Method
Build the drink in an old fashioned glass with a block ice cube. Add soda water and gently stir. Express the orange peel over the drink and discard.
