It’s not every day that one of your favourite bars asks you to contribute a cocktail recipe, let alone a bespoke dry Martini recipe for their Dry July promotion.
Dry July tends to be associated with giving up alcohol for an entire month but one Sydney bar has cleverly reinterpreted the dry theme.
Dulcie’s Kings Cross is offering Martinis Between Friends, an antidote to Dry July and a month we can fully get behind particularly as our #fridaynightmartiniritual is approaching its first year anniversary.
The all-Australian spirits cocktail bar is paying homage to the Dry Martini and they have asked their friends to contribute a recipe.
“We gave our friends Carte Blanche of our spirits cabinet and they came back with a selection of the most LUXE and BOOZY menu of high proof Martini’s. These are strictly limited to Dry July”.
The Sea Change Martini is our contribution to Dulcie’s Martinis Between Friends, an original and bespoke recipe that has not been previously shared or published.
The West Winds Broadside Navy Strength Gin (58% ABV) meets Adelaide Hills Dry Vermouth and a gentle sea salt spray with sea asparagus garnish. It’s a dry, savoury and maritime Martini that has been kissed by the sea. The Martini is available exclusively at Dulcie’s Kings Cross for the month of July.
Other contributors to Martinis Between Friends are Thomas Stevens of Bass & Flinders Distillery, Simon Audas of Archie Rose, Dave Danby of Imperial Measures Distilling, Megan and Reece of Chula Sydney and Monopole at Potts Point.
Along with Martinis Between Friends, Dulcie’s is also offering Martini Flights during the month of July, a trio of half serves of their most popular and most deluxe Martinis.
