Sydney Brewery and Sydney Cider have announced the eight finalists of the Sydney Cider Cocktail Competition for 2018.
A high standard of entries was submitted and the judges made their decision based on the criteria of originality, appearance, ingredients and inspiration.
Sydney Cider Cocktail Competition Finalists
Here are the eight finalists of the Sydney Cider Cocktail Competition 2018, listed in no particular order:
- Samuel Reilly – Mamasan Surry Hills – “No Wuckers”
- Francisco Navarrete – nel restaurant – “The Sea-dney Sider”
- Nicola Morra – The Grasshopper – “My Fizz Mate”
- Atlanta Pahulu – Ramblin’ Rascal Tavern – “Ooray Fizz”
- Morgan Karlsson – The Duke of Clarence – “Smoke and Ginger”
- Daniel Noble – Old Mates Place – “Easy Like a Cider Morning”
- Natalie Ng – Door Knock – “Proud To Be A Sydney Cider”
- Daniel Hilton – Lobo Plantation – “No Backsies”
The Sydney Cider Cocktail Competition finalists will be competing on Monday 23 April 2018 at The Cidery Bar in World Square from 5pm till 8pm. The competition will be judged by Ben Davidson (Bespoke Drinks), Max Greco (Vasco Bar), Corinne Mossati (Cocktails & Bars, Gourmantic) and Richard Feyn (Sydney Brewery).

Sydney Brewery would like to extend an invitation to the bartending community to attend the finals of the Sydney Cider Cocktail Competition and cheer their colleagues. The evening will kick off with complimentary cocktails and canapés, and to keep everyone hydrated, Sydney Brewery ciders (Sydney Cider, Manly Perry, Agave & Ginger Cider) and beer will flow throughout the evening.
