Burrow Bar closes this month, Asia’s 50 Best Bars announced in May, the most perfect frozen cocktail, Millstone virtual whisky tasting and more in industry news.
Burrow Bar Closes
After 5 years, Burrow Bar in Sydney’s De Mestre Place will be calling for last service on Saturday March 20th. The small bar by co-owners Bryce McDonough and Chau Tran will be moving into a bigger space in April, along with a separate street level restaurant with talent from ex Quay and Rockpool. The new venue will be located on the corner of Barrack and Clarence Streets and promises drinks that are “technically and creatively harder” but with the same hospitality and hidden away vibes. You may even see Tom Bulmer lighting a pineapple on fire.
Burrow Bar will be throwing a Farewell Party on Saturday 20th March 2021 from 4pm.
