Bartenders in NSW, this is your reminder that entries for the Sydney Cider Cocktail Competition 2018 are closing soon.
There are only 7 days left to submit your entries into the Sydney Cider Cocktail Competition 2018.
This Year’s Theme
All you need to do is create a Sydney-inspired cocktail using an Australian native ingredient and a minimum of 60 ml of either Sydney Cider, Agave Ginger Cider or Manly Perry then email the name of your cocktail, a short paragraph describing the inspiration behind it and a photo of the drink in landscape format to [email protected].
Entries close on midnight Tuesday 10 April 2018.
The judges will review the entries and select the finalists which will be announced here on Cocktails & Bars on Monday 16 April 2018. The competition finals will be held on Monday 23 April 2018 between 5pm and 8pm at the Cidery Bar in World Square where the winner will be crowned.
The Prizes
Three generous prizes will be awarded on the night. The first place winner will receive one night’s accommodation for two at Rydges Sydney Central, a tour of the new Sydney Brewery, dinner for two at Rydges Sydney Central including Sydney Brewery drinks, and 10 cartons of Sydney Brewery products of their choice – total prize value $1200.
The second prize winner will get 10 cartons of any Sydney Brewery products valued at $700 and the third prize is 5 cartons of Sydney Brewery products of their choice valued at $350.
