Next in the Bastille Day Cocktails series is a Floc de Gascogne cocktail, Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité.
Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité or L.E.F is an easy to make stirred cocktail using three ingredients. The base ingredient is Floc de Gascogne, an aperitif and mistelle made from fresh grape juice fortified with Armagnac. The cocktail combines Floc with gin and triple sec in a light and refreshing stirred drink. Either a floral style of gin or a London dry would do well here.
Floc de Gascogne Cocktail: Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité
Ingredients
- 40 ml Floc de Gascogne blanc (white)
- 15 ml gin
- 15 ml triple sec
Glassware: coupette
Garnish: lemon twist
Method
In a mixing glass, add all ingredients and ice. Stir and strain into a chilled coupette. Garnish with a lemon twist.
