The tradition began a long time ago in our home bar. The exact date is unknown but suffice to say that it goes back to the last century! Friday night at home was time for a Martini for two but it was more than just a cocktail. It was a ceremony and a ritual that put an end to the working week and a start to quality time together. From deciding on the spirit, the vermouth, the Martini garnish and glassware followed by the anticipation of the first sip, the Martini is a drink that requires thought and patience. And the Friday Night Martini Ritual was born.
This custom which began long before Gourmantic and Cocktails & Bars existed has continued until today. On July 20 2018, we decided to share our Friday night Martinis from the home bar and gave it its own hashtag on instagram.
