- Alpha Restaurant has opened Beta Bar (pictured) on level one, a bar and gallery where the drinks menu features Greek twists on classic cocktails such as the Dirty Greek Martini with horiatiki skewer. Beta Bar, level 1, 238 Castlereagh St, Sydney
- Leadbelly in Newtown has opened this month by the owners of Tipple Bar in Sydney’s Surry Hills. The cocktail bar is also a live music venue. 42 King St Newtown, Sydney
- Sydney is getting a bar dedicated to the Espresso Martini when Tuxedo bar opens in The Rocks at the site of the old Cadbury Factory. 195 Gloucester St, The Rocks, Sydney
- Tequila Mockingbird is set to open to the public in Sydney’s Five Ways Paddington on August 10, a restaurant and bar with Latin American flavours and a tequila focus. 6 Heeley St, Paddington, Sydney
