- Burrow Bar (pictured) has quietly opened in Sydney’s CBD. Just look for a door surrounded by astro turf. De Mestre Place (off George St), Sydney
- A new bar and music venue by the team from Low302 has opened in Sydney’s Darlinghurst. The Oxford Circus is a 3 story venue with live music on the theatre level, tap beers on the ground floor, and a champagne Cocktail Bar (coming soon) on the top floor. 231 Oxford St, Darlinghurst, NSW
- Yukie’s Snack Bar has opened in the space adjacent to Mr Miyagi serving unique cocktails such as the Watermelon Martini garnished with Midori-infused “olives”. 99 Chapel Street, Windsor, VIC
- The Angry Pirate bar in Redfern is no more. Taking its place soon is The Noble Hops with a focus on beer. 125 Redfern St, Redfern, NSW
- The Barber Shop is set to open another venue at Barangaroo on 1st April 2016 but it won’t be a replica of the original. More details to follow soon. Barangaroo, Sydney
- Woollahra’s The Light Brigade Hotel will launch two new bars in April: Brigade Lounge (formerly known as the powder room) and Brigade Rooftop with views of Sydney’s skyline and harbour. 2A Oxford St, Woollahra NSW
- Bar Liberty has opened in Melbourne’s Fitzroy. Though essentially wine-focussed with share plates, you can expect pre-bottled cocktails made in-house. 234 Johnston Street, Fitzroy, VIC
