The CK7 On the Road Cocktail is part of the G7 Cocktails, a series of 7 unique cocktail recipes created by some of the best bartenders in Sydney specifically for our sister website Gourmantic’s 7th Birthday celebrations.
The CK7 On the Road is a tequila based cocktail created by Max Greco of Vasco bar in Surry Hills. The key ingredients are tequila blanco and the excellent Monin yuzu puree which give the cocktail its vibrancy and zesty character. Lychee, St Germain elderflower and pink grapefruit juice play a supporting role while the agave notes are not too far away and linger beautifully on the palate.
The cocktail is easy to make, the only problem is stopping at one.
“CK7 On the Road” Cocktail Recipe
Created by Max Greco of Vasco Bar, Sydney for Gourmantic’s 7th Birthday
Ingredients
- 45 ml tequila blanco
- 10 ml Monin yuzu puree
- 10 ml St Germain Elderflower liqueur
- 10 ml lychee water
- 20 ml pink grapefruit juice
Glassware: Nick and Nora
Garnish: edible flower
Method
Add all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and double strain into a chilled Nick and Nora glass. Garnish with edible flower.
