Next in the Cobbler series, here’s how to make a Whisky Cobbler using seasonal fruit.
Not as low in ABV as the Sherry Cobbler or the Vermouth Cobbler, this recipe for this variation combines blended whisky or a fruity single malt with sugar, muddled ripe peach and orange for a refreshing summer flavour.
Half a ripe peach and orange slices are muddled with sugar before whisky is added and shaken with ice. To serve the drink and for photography purposes, we used mini ice cubes which can be made using these mini ice cube trays.
The Whisky Cobbler is a good option to consider for a summer brunch cocktail, an aperitif whisky cocktail, or simply a refreshing way to enjoy whisky during the hot summer months.
