When we’re not enjoying cocktails or indulging in our Friday Night Martini Ritual, there is one amber liquid that has long been our go-to spirit: whisky.
Whether it’s a quiet drink for two from the home bar, a nightcap after a special event or a guilty pairing with chocolate on a weeknight, the love affair with whisky has always been strong.
As a woman in whisky who has penned many reviews over the years but has been a little quiet on this front of late, over the weekend I launched a new Whisky Weekend instagram series under the hashtag #cocktailsandbarswhisky featuring honest whisky appreciation, musings and banter with occasional whisky reviews and none of the pomposity.
