Cherry Kiss is our very own Espresso Martini variation, a caffeinated cocktail to enjoy at Easter or any other time of the year.
The Espresso Martini is a modern classic invented by the late Dick Bradsell. The British bartender is also renowned for other modern classics and is credited for creating the Treacle, a twist on the old-fashioned with rum and cloudy apple juice, and the Bramble, a gin cocktail with citrus and Crème de Mûre.
Our variation on the original is inspired by the pairing of cherry and chocolate with caffeine. The cocktail gets a kiss of cherry from the addition of cherry liqueur, demerara syrup adds a rich, molasses and caramel flavoured note and grated chocolate adds a finishing touch.
