The London Calling cocktail is a modern twist on the gin sour with the addition of sherry. Here’s how to make it.
Although relatively new to the cocktail scene, the drink can be called a modern classic. The gin-based cocktail is the invention of bartender Chris Jepson from Milk & Honey in London back in 2002. The cocktail is essentially a twist on the gin sour with the addition of sherry that elevates the drink. The shaken cocktail is served in a coupette or a Martini glass and garnished with a grapefruit twist.
