North America’s 50 Best Bars 2022 was unveiled on Tuesday 7th June, livestreamed from an in-person awards ceremony in New York. Here is the full list.

The first-ever North America’s 50 Best Bars headed to the Big Apple for the inaugural event which took place in Lower Manhattan’s historic Capitale.
The ceremony included the countdown of the list and presentation of special awards, culminating in the reveal of the continent’s No.1, The Best Bar in North America 2022.
Two special awards were announced in the lead up to the reveal of the official list. Masahiro Urushido was crowned the Altos Bartenders’ Bartender 2022 and the Michter’s Art of Hospitality Award 2022 was claimed by Overstory in New York.
The North America’s 50 Best Bars 2022 list is an amalgamation of the votes cast by the Voting Academy: a 220-strong, gender-balanced group of drinks aficionados including bartenders, owners, drinks media and well-travelled cocktail connoisseurs. Here is the full list.
