PS40 bar in Sydney has flipped things on the head with their new fun and creative PS Pharma cocktail list aimed to make you think again before taking a (chill) pill. The PS Pharma cocktail list takes an innovative alternative medicine approach to cocktails with clever presentation while keeping it tongue in cheek. In true and inimitable PS40 style, they like to “have a bit of fun/fuck with it”.
The PS Pharma cocktail list consists of five cocktails, each is based on an ingredient used as a natural remedy, much like the Bach Flower Remedies Cocktails from the now closed The Victoria Room in Sydney.
Laughter is the Best Medicine (rosehip) promises side effects of joy, temporarily relief of pain and others laughing with/at you, while the aquavit-based Float Like a Bee Sting Like a Nettle (stinging nettle) is to be applied directly to skin irritation to treat rheumatism… but not to be used in replacement of lube. Mexican Cowboy (Indian borage) promises to “clear that alien snot and share it with your friends.”
The clever presentation and the tongue in cheek descriptors are as enticing as the cocktails. The new PS Pharma cocktail list is now available at PS40 in Sydney.
