The Amaro Week cocktail series continues with Rising Sun in Trinidad.
For the Rising Sun in Trinidad cocktail, we travel to Trinidad & Tobago with Amaro di Angostura, an amaro characterised by a spicy flavour profile of cinnamon, cardamom and clove along with liquorice notes, citrus and a chocolate finish. Here, we’re pairing it with bourbon and a plum liqueur from Japan (hence the name) which adds a complementary nuttiness and subtle fruit note to the drink.
For more information about amari, refer to the Essential Guide to Amaro.
