Bass & Flinders Spiced Christmas Brandy
Bass & Flinders Spiced Christmas Brandy is inspired by Head Distiller’s fourth generation family Christmas pudding recipe. The brandy is the result of steeping all of the Christmas pudding ingredients for more than 10 days – including dried apricots, cranberries, orange zest and nutmeg, plus a unique blend of Christmas flavours such as frankincense and myrrh.
With subtle sweetness on the palate, it opens with notes of sweet spice, apricot, currants and orange rind followed by a spicy mid palate blend of nutmeg, native pepperberry and cassia, and finishing with vanilla carrying all the spices driven by lip numbing clove for a long delectable finish. Sip neat, mix into your favourite Christmas cocktail or whisk into brandy foam sauce to serve with pudding.
