For fans of classic cocktails, Harry Craddock’s The Savoy Cocktail Book is essential reading. The author was an American bartender who left the US to work at London’s Savoy Hotel. The book was originally published in 1930 and features many classics as well as cocktails he was credited with creating.
The cocktail recipes are listed in alphabetical order and include a section on bottled cocktails, non-alcoholic cocktails before it delves into cocktail families such as sours, shrubs, sangarees, cobblers and cups, followed by a section on wine.
The Savoy Cocktail Book: Value Edition is priced from $25.31 for a paperback and is available through Amazon.
