The Amaro Week cocktail series continues with the White Negroni, an equal parts cocktail using gentian-based Suze.
While most of the amaro cocktails we have featured so far have been dark in colour and traditionally used as a digestivo, Suze Saveur d’Autrefois is at the other end of the spectrum
Suze is a gentian-based French amaro that has a dry, citrusy and grassy flavour. It is versatile in many cocktails such as the White Negroni. We tasted this drink at a masterclass with Arijit Bose, Monkey 47 Brand Ambassador for Asia Pacific and we’re reproducing it here. The combination of the gin, Suze and Lillet Blanc is nothing shirt of a harmonious symphony of flavours.
