Malay, Chinese, Indian and European botanicals include orchid, amchoor, java pepper and fresh home grown oranges combining in harmony to deliver an herbaceous gin that is big on flavour. At 42% ABV, Tanglin Orchid Gin has a soft nose followed by an herbal and spice note. The palate is smooth and creamy, with underlying earthiness and herbal note along with a hint of sweetness. The finish lingers long with peppery warmth.
Tanglin Orchid Gin pairs well with Fever-Tree Mediterranean tonic, garnished with a cinnamon stick and a slice of fresh orange. For an extra lift, use a splash of lime or orange bitters. In a Martini, it plays well with Maidenii Dry White while the Distiller’s choice is always a Negroni in equal parts.
