Angostura 1919
Angostura 1919 is a light blend of rums aged in charred, ex bourbon casks. The sipping rum is golden amber in hue with a delicate nose of cocoa, sweet molasses, toffee, vanilla and coconut cream. The palate is remarkably smooth and well rounded; a dry medium-bodied palate with caramel, vanilla, dark roasted nuts and smoky flavours culminating in a long and smooth finish.
Angostura 1919 pairs well with desserts and chocolate and is equally suited for spirit forward sweeter style cocktails like the Old Fashioned and Treacles.
