From independent, Scottish owned and managed whisky company The GlenAllachie in Speyside comes The GlenAllachie 12 year old. The flagship expression is matured in American Oak, Sherry Cask and Virgin Oak selected by Master Distiller Billy Walker. Bottled at 46%, it’s non-chill filtered and has no added colouring.
On the nose, butterscotch and honey play the lead with raisins and mocha in the background. The palate is rich with honey, marzipan and bananas, with lashings of butterscotch, raisins and a delicate hint of mocha.
