Hailing from Sweden, Hernö Old Tom Gin starts as Hernö Gin, a spirit distilled with juniper berries, coriander seeds, lemon peel, lingon berries, meadowsweet, black pepper, cassia and fresh vanilla. An additional amount of meadowsweet is added in the distillation, then once the gin is cut down to 43% ABV, a touch of honey is added.
Not your typical Old Tom style of gin, Hernö Old Tom Gin has woody spice aromas, juniper and floral notes, light sweetness on the palate with notes of pine flowers and a long finish with floral sweetness.
